Die erste Woche liegt hinter uns und sie ist rasend schnell vergangen. Am Montag war unser erster Schultag sie kennen hier brigens keine Schultten. Friday May 18th I had the day off from work because my entire group was in Chengdu for some sort of celebration. It worked out well because I wasn39t feeling great that day so I spent much of my time lounging around. I did take a little field trip to a park just north of our hotel which was really p[...]

Huaraz to Ecuador

We left Huaraz on an overnight bus to Trujillo. We left about 1015 pm on a fairly fancy Linea bus and arrived in Trujillo 9 hours later. We cruised along through endless fields of banana plantations. They went as far as the eye could see. Occassionally we would come across a town where [...]

Firenze of fun

The train from Venice to Florence or Firenze if you want to be Italian about it was lovely though I had to sit crosslegged because my Pygmy legs couldn39t reach the floor. Florence is a bit of a rude awakening of cars Vespas and crowds after the relative peace of Venice. While we waited for our room[...]
